CIC announced upcoming release of new Ministerial instructions soon. It will very likely affect the list of eligible occupations under the Federal Skilled Worker immigration program. Until April 16, 2010 a research is conducted about current labor market demands, and it will result in updated instructions, making more people eligible under the skilled worker program. "Once we have gathered everyone’s input, we’ll provide a summary of the responses we received. The next set of ministerial instructions will be published in the Canada Gazette and posted on this website." - says CIC on their website and asks for your opinion about what occupations are in demand in Canada now.
